The Warren County Department of Motor Vehicles and the Essex County Department of Motor Vehicles along with county DMVs across New York State are teaming up with the New York Alliance for Donation during the month of April to increase enrollment in the New York State Donate Life Registry. Events are aimed at raising public awareness of the critical need for organ, eye, and tissue donation. Nearly 10,000 New Yorkers currently are on waiting lists for these life-saving transplants.
Check out the Warren County DMV's Alliance for Donation display and promotional items. Special thanks to Glen Street Price Chopper for helping with our balloons! All new organ donors will be entered into a drawing for summer fun bags. The drawing will be held from new registrants on April 29.
Enrollment is easy... an organ donor consent certification is found on all NYS driver's license and non-driver id forms.
